I played in three, one hour sessions for the sake of recording, and about two hours in it did feel like the short adventure was starting to wrap up. So, to this game’s credit, I didn’t stop, but I didn’t really have time to either. If I don’t think I’m missing out on anything, I’ll stop. For the most part, I’ll dabble in everything a game has, but might decide not to play every coliseum challenge or catch every Pokémon. Being a side quester typically means completing a game when it isn’t a pain in the ass. And that’s not just finishing the game – that’s completion. For fifteen dollars, you can be playing Hollow Knight, Golf Story, or any number of other great indie titles for the switch alone, so one should hope for a pretty fun three hours. After all, I’ve paid more for movie tickets than I did for this game, But there is an expectation of quality when you charge this much for such a short game. More, because it has a world and mechanics that make it feel unique in its own right, and less because the game is only three hours long at even a leisurely pace.
